Loess
A terrestrial sediment formed by aeolian accumulation of mainly silt-sized particles, esp. during Pleistocene cold dry phase and aggregated by loessification.
Luvisol
Argic horizon
Argic horizons are widespread in the temperate climates, and generally fertile. Luvisols are widely used for argiculture.
